  • I am so glad you mentioned this. As a lawyer in the entertainment industry, I have come to discern who I want to work with based on who is truthful and who isn't. Sometimes this means losing out on a big opportunity, but at least I can sleep at night, you know?

  • My career as a negotiator has been in a wide open world of commerce where I rarely negotiate with the same person twice and there is a lot of opacity.

    My negotiation mentor when I was innocent, good hearted and naive, informed me thus: "All negotiators lie."

    I'd like to say there is room for further discussion on this issue, but that's my best and final offer.
